The idea

Choose a baseplate, shape and colour, then build freely in a 3D scene. Pieces snap to an 8 mm grid, rotate in quarter turns and stack like real construction bricks. The tools also let you select, move and recolour pieces, pick a colour, undo an action or clear the baseplate.

Today

  • The showcase and 3D workshop are available at brique.lulab.fr.
  • Four baseplate sizes are available, from 16 × 16 to 48 × 48 studs, using a realistic 8 mm pitch.
  • The catalogue includes bricks, plates, tiles, slopes, round pieces, cones and arches in several sizes.
  • The palette offers 60 opaque or transparent colours, while touch-friendly tools handle selection, movement, rotation, recolouring, undo and clearing.
  • The workshop installs as a PWA and works offline on compatible devices.

What’s next

  • Add multiple saved builds and file export.
  • Expand the catalogue with technical, articulated and decorative pieces.
  • Improve placement aids for tall or highly detailed builds.
  • Allow a build to be shared through a simple link.
