The idea

You watch a voxel world from your browser. Its inhabitants work, start families, build villages, trade resources and defend their kingdom. You can start your own world, follow what happens and step in whenever you want. The simulation keeps running on the server even when nobody is watching.

Where does it stand?

The state described in the notebook and ideas for what comes next, with no promised release date.

Today

  • The public website, 3D game and kingdom dashboard are available.
  • You can create several worlds, found cities, save, pause a game and start it again.
  • Inhabitants work, start families, produce, trade, build and fight.
  • On mobile, a lightweight dashboard replaces the 3D view. The published 2D view is still a visual mock-up.

What’s next

  • Connect the 2D view to the real server world and saved games.
  • Let players found, build and give orders directly from the 2D view.
  • Make very large maps run more smoothly on desktop and mobile.
  • Add richer relationships, dynasties, specialised land and new world events.

Project notebook

  • Public service confirmed and retained in lulab.fr's new explicit DNS zone.

  • Server simulation and live view brought together so the world keeps evolving without an open browser.
